Wool innovation information booklets, August 2011
Throughout my time at Australian Wool Innovation (AWI)/Woolmark, I developed a new set of brand guidelines to ensure a clean and consistent approach to corporate design. Prior to my arrival, there was a lack of cohesion in the brand, with a number of different agencies involved in the design process.
AWI now has a primary focus on maintaining a universally natural look and feel, including organic colour tones and uplifting imagery. These booklets are one of the tangible outcomes of my work on developing a consistent, yet recognisable, brand.
Created for the G’day USA event in New York, these printed invitations were sent out to invite guests to the annual Black Tie Gala, and The Australian Five fashion event, which was held to celebrate the best of Australian talent working in innovative ways with Merino wool.
Designed to reflect the high-class nature of the events, these invitations employ a minimalist design with a focus on strong typography over a grid of black-and-white photography.
Annual Event Redesign, March 2010
Saturday in Design is an annual trade event for the design community run by Indesign publishing. The core brand elements consists of a red and black colour palette, logo and typefaces; these are utilised each year when a new conceptual approach is developed for the upcoming event.
